The idea for GroupHug came to me when our son’s amazing 2nd-grade teacher was very sick. Pregnant at the time as well, we wanted to embrace her in a way that could help from a distance while including all of her students and their families. Our teacher needed some love! If only there was a simple way to do that… Organizing a group gift can be a wonderful gesture, but oftentimes that gesture gets lost for both the organizer and the contributors. I knew there had to be a better way to gather around those we love. As we find new ways to connect in these tough times, stay close when we are apart, I hope you will find GroupHug to be a way to surround your family, your friends, your teachers, your co-workers, your coaches, your communities, or really, just anyone who could use a hug.
