‘Ridiculously strategic’ is the phrase that comes to mind when I think about Katya. Katya played an integral role on the social team at DSW. In my time working with her she handled increased responsibilities without hesitation, was an excellent collaborator, and a constant contributor. Katya constantly challenged the status quo and her ideas were always presented with sound research and reasoning. I was always in awe of her ability to command a room and get people on board with her ideas—even people who were initially on completely different pages. Regardless of how sensitive an issue, not uncommon in the world of social, you could always rely on Katya to remain cool, calm, and collected, and provide effective solutions. Katya would be an asset to any team.
