I worked with Katya for over 5 years at LandWorks Inc. and Pandell. She played a huge part in me becoming the GIS Team Coordinator that I am today. She trained me as a GIS Mapping Specialist back in 2014, and through her advice, knowledge, experience, and caring nature, I was able to eventually become her partner as Co-GIS Team Coordinators. While working as her partner, she was always able to offer solutions to problems with her 20+ years of expertise. Katya was very motivated and driven, always focusing on how the team could improve our mapping efforts. Even after working at LandWorks/Pandell for so many years, Katya always showed up to work with a smile on her face, ready to get started and tackle the day’s tasks. She has been one of the most influential people in my GIS career. She was a mentor to me, and I will always remember her words of advice and encouragement. I would not be in the position I am in today without her. Any company would be lucky to have an employee like Katya.

I had the pleasure of working with Katya for almost two years and she has proven herself to be an especially thorough & detail-oriented colleague. I’ve seen her manage an array of responsibilities including interviewing potential hires, training new staff, doing quality assurance to enforce strict mapping standards, organizing us as a team-lead, and even periodically identifying potential improvements to pursue for our software development team by finding bugs and offering insightful feature requests. When I was originally hired by LandWorks (now Pandell) as a GIS Specialist, Katya both interviewed me for the position, and then also trained me. Later when she served as a team-lead she was my immediate supervisor and oversaw my work. Consequently, I’ve had ample opportunity to witness her professionalism firsthand. Between her many years of GIS experience and her exceptionally affable disposition, I know you’ll enjoy working with Katya.
