On a Department of Energy Nuclear Facility, I worked as an intern in the Environmental Department- Waste Retrieval and Projects. My tasks included looking through work instructions and orders to make sure they followed federal and local regulations. I wrote and edited Safety articles, a Double-Shelled Tank Pumping Plan, and compiled a Retrieval History for C-Farm Excel. I also became familiar with nuclear government work and regulations, including RCRA and CERCLA. Assistant to Front Office Business Manager, HR, and Medical Records
-
Oct 2014 - Oct 2017
I started working in the medical records department with filing, prepping, and scanning charts. Later on, my services were needed in assisting the Business Office Manager with miscellaneous jobs and projects, but also constructing systems to help further the efficiency of our work. I was also able to assist with Human Resources where I continued to develop systems to improve efficiency while maintaining the necessary confidentiality required by that department.
