Katy joined her husband, Erik Scott in September 2017 in his already successful Real Estate career. Katy and Erik are partners in life giving you the lifestyle brand you trust with almost 40 years of combined Real Estate experience. Erik has been a licensed Realtor over a decade. As a United States Marine, he will fight for you and your family with his calm and detail oriented business style and his extensive knowledge of the Bryan-College Station Real Estate market. Katy has been a licensed Real Estate Agent since 1997 and a Broker since 2001, she has a background in Interior Design and specializes in the marketing and promotional side of the business. Erik and Katy have lived and worked in the Brazos Valley over sixteen years. They live in College Station with their two children, Libby and Foster, and are active in their children's activities, their schools and their church. Katy and Erik Scott have a goal to treat every transaction honorably and each customer with sincerity and kindness. Their hope is that every person that works with them is a happy customer who becomes a repeat client, part of the family.

Director of Community Engagement Brazos Valley

I was hired in 2015 to launch Ronald McDonald House Charities Programs and Services in the Brazos Valley. In my 2.5 years on the job, I took the organization from offering no services to offering three. With my lead, we launched the Happy Wheels Cart Program in all three area hospitals (CHI St. Joseph, College Station Medical Center and Baylor Scott & White) in October 2015 and started the RMHC volunteer program to run the carts. We funded and opened the first Ronald McDonald Family Room in the Brazos Valley at CHI St. Joseph and funded and started construction of the second Family Room in the area at the College Station Medical Center. We also launched Healing Hearts, a program that provides burial assistance to low income families after the loss of a child and established the Healing Hearts Memory Garden in the Brazos Valley. In order to fund all of these amazing programs, during my tenure we held two very successful Capital Campaigns, we dreamed up Starlight Affair, a yearly gala to market and raise funds to support the organization and we held the first annual Bryan Broadcasting Cares For Kids Radiothon. During my time at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas, I served as the local spokesperson for the organization and was able to elevate awareness through numerous speaking engagements, radio spots and TV appearances.

I was in charge of all fundraising efforts in the Brazos Valley that included March For Babies and March to The Brazos in the Fall and Signature Chefs Gala in the Spring. I was also in charge of marketing the March of Dimes mission of healthy mom's and healthy babies in the Brazos Valley through speaking engagements and by being the overall community liaison for the organization. I was in charge of the Invest Research Valley Program for The RVP, the Economic Development Organization for Bryan, College Station and Brazos County Texas. My role was to engage the private sector in the economic growth of the region and to bring in funds from these private sector partners.
