Dual Credit Coordinator responsibilities include maintaining school partner databases, implementation of communication plan for Dual Credit high school coordinators, instructors, faculty liaisons, and department/school leaders, work as the University contact person for the high schools for questions/concerns, assist in vetting and hiring of online Dual Credit adjuncts, communicate university policies and procedures to the high school Dual Credit coordinator/counselor via meetings and personal communication, actively seek new qualified Dual Credit instructors, facilitate annual high school instructor and high school Dual Credit coordinator/counselor professional development days, issue and coordinate Dual Credit instructor payments and student gifts, cooperatively develop marketing and registration materials to be distributed to school partners, students, and parents, and maintain Dual Credit handbook and website. Lead NACEP accreditation efforts by communicating requirements, coordinating evidence, and cooperatively writing application documentation, coordinate with Institutional Research, Student Success Center, Admissions, Registrar, University Marketing & Communications, School/Department secretaries & leaders for day to day activities, attend the Rural Advocate Meetings, establish and promote new Dual Credit partnerships, develop Dual Credit advisory council, serve as NACEP and MOACEP membership contact, communicate all Missouri Dual Credit policy and NACEP accreditation requirement changes to all school partners and university personnel impacted. - 9-12 Classroom Teacher and Speech and Debate Coach Subjects taught include Speech I and II, Dual Enrollment Speech in conjunction with Missouri Western State University, Competitive Drama, Debate, Advanced Debate, Study Skills, World History, and Theatre Arts. Manage a team of 100+ students traveling to several tournaments each season throughout greater Kansas City and Northwest Missouri. Students have qualified to the National Catholic League Grand National Tournament and Congressional Debate Tournament of Champions, and placed at the Missouri State High School Activities Association State tournament, National Individual Event Tournament of Champions and Lincoln Financial Group/National Forensics League National Tournament. - Fine Arts Department Chair Coordinate a department of 12 professionals, along with 15 performing ensembles, and various other clubs and organizations.
