I'm not sure who is credited with the following quote, but I suspect that they may have met a 'Katy' at some point in their life: "If you want something done, ask a busy person to do it". I first met Katy shortly after returning from the whitewash of the 2006/7 Ashes Series in Australia. I had read about the Barmy Army's struggles and was interested in getting involved and offering my support to the organisation. Whilst Paul was clearly the provider of ideas within the organisation, Katy was the one to see these ideas through to fruition; a whirlwind of organisation, ingenuity, practicality and operational support behind the scenes - with an amazing appetite to learn new skill-sets. Without her hard graft and dedication, I am sure that the problems of that Ashes Series would have been too great for the organization to have survived. She is a conscientious, honest, hard working young lady, who has been a pleasure to work with.
