Project title: Potent Delivery of Combination Antiretroviral Therapy (cART) using DSPE-HPMA Polymers Resume: Testing the potency of delivering different combinations of ART using different polymers in the treatment of HIV. The drugs were tested in a special cell reporter assay and in human T cells, which is the primary target cell of HIV. The delivery of cART through polymers showed a higher antiviral effect compared to an equal concentration of the same drugs without polymers. Methods: Cell culturing, reporter cell assay, T cell isolation from blood, p24 ELISA, flow cytometry, HIV production including transformation and transfection, infection of cells, LaTeX, GraphPad Prism etc. Skills: Through my master thesis I really learned how to think creatively and innovative, to make protocols, finding relevant literature, solve problems, optimize assays, analyze big data, presenting findings both orally and in writing.
