Contracted for 3 months at The Wayside Chapel, a non-profit organisation operating in Kings Cross and Bondi, with an initial brief to assist the Head of People and Culture with various Projects and Business as Usual activities whilst the department was being re-positioned and restructured. Projects and HR activities involved the following: -• Using HRIS, streamline HR processes and develop online templates for the introduction of Performance Management, Career development and One-on-One Direct Report Meetings • Create online HR templates for HR correspondence and Contracts• Be the point of contact and resolution for all HRIS issues with staff and the HRIS provider• Audit Position Descriptions and Award paypoint data and then report on work to be done from audit results• Organise and coordinate COVID-19 Booster clinics with external providers for all staff• Manage the COVID-19 Incident, Tracking and Risk Assessment process• Report all necessary COVID-19 cases to Safework• Coordinate the distribution and updating of COVID-19 Protocols, Policies and Plans• Assist in the development of Business Continuity Plans, Risk Assessment and Registers, Safety Plans and Templates for Wayside and those required by Department of Communities and Justice and other funding bodies• Manage and review all Incidents reports and resolutions • Coordinate with external EAP and Salary Packaging providers for internal information sessions and promotion of benefits• Assist the Head of People and Culture in any ad hoc work requirements such as documentation review, coordination with Business Units and Project work as needed. Handle Business as Usual activities as requested• In the absence of the Head of People and Culture, investigate Grievance complaint, hold and document interviews and report on findings Show less
