Worked on high-profile health policy research projects across multiple topic areas: • Sub-Task Manager for a project where CMS sponsored the development of two Consumer Assessment of Health and Provider Systems surveys that assess consumers’ experiences with the health insurance marketplaces and provide TA to marketplaces to facilitate positive consumer experiences. Responsibilities include overseeing state quarterly reports to CMS and other data quality reports. • Lead data collection and analysis (consumer UX testing) by supporting the California Office of the Patient Advocate (through a NCQA contract) on their annual Health Care Quality Report Cards (i.e. writing, designing, and testing report card language and materials) and supporting NCQA on HEDIS measure development. • Managed the data collection, analysis, and report for the Niagara Falls Community Health Needs Assessment and Implementation Strategy.The goal of this project was to identify key health priorities for the city to address. • Lead qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis of the evaluation of a CDC-sponsored project on addressing youth violence in 12 local communities around the country • Served as a liaison to CMS awardees, to monitor progress and evaluate outcomes of the Strong Start II initiative which seeks to improve birth outcomes in Medicaid-eligible women through enhanced prenatal care.
