GoFarm is a nonprofit organization working to strengthen our local food system and build healthier communities. We do this through three program areas: (1) Farmer Assistance, where we support and mentor local, beginning farmers. (2) Local Food Share, where we provide local food to community members and connect people where their food comes from. (3) Community Food Access, where we make healthy, local food more affordable and accessible to under-resourced communities.

We focus on human dynamics, emergent design, workplace democracy, self-management, and building empathy…plus a fair dose of modern technology to get the job done. Our favorite projects exist in the realm of social innovation, environmental & food justice, and community wellbeing. We’re a consulting group helping other groups do work more effectively. Community Lab was a small nonprofit startup focused on building sustainable systems for governments in developing countries based on the Millennium Development Goals. My time with Community Lab allowed me to utilize design to make an impact on our local and global community. From working on infographics for foreign health ministries to branding a New York based networking event for professionals in the non-profit sector, the work was always a refreshing challenge. GPB's mission is to create, produce and distribute high quality programs and services that educate, inform and entertain their audiences and enrich the quality of their lives. At GPB I designed, developed, and maintained a wide variety of websites for all three communication outlets — radio, television, and education — while responding to internal and external requests for up-to-date content management.
