  In this role I was the lead designer responsible for all design work going through the company, working alongside all other members of our small team as well as dealing directly with clients.Clients were mostly from the fresh produce industry, ranging from multinational grocery stores to independent growers, magazine editors to campaign co-ordinators. My work included brand creation and website design, food packaging, illustration, magazine adverts/features, display unit design, in-store graphics, recipe cards, creating graphics for use on social media, detailed pitch presentations and much more.This was my first job out of university and I was able to develop many different areas of my design and presentation skills in this role whilst also picking up some basic marketing skills.



Hand & Eye Letterpress

  This was a short-term internship I undertook whilst on my sandwich year at university. I have a particular passion for typography and all the beautiful history behind printing techniques, so being able to work in a letterpress studio for only a couple of weeks was a fantastic experience.I learnt how to set type by hand, set up and print on a proofing machine and assisted with general workshop duties. Although these hands-on skills may rarely get used outside of the letterpress industry, it was a wonderful time spent in a great space which has undoubtedly helped develop my typographic skills.
