Katie is a self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team. She is a talented writer and researcher. I feel confident that Katie is able to handle complex work assignments and tackle any challenge. Katie has been a wonderful person to work with, and I highly recommend her for all future endeavors.

I had the pleasure of working with Katie while she served her college internship at Heritage Community Initiatives. Katie went well beyond the traditional role of intern, and served as a true member of the Heritage Development team. She is a creative and polished writer, and capably performed writing assignments that ranged from grant proposals to press releases. During her internship, Katie supported grant writing and reporting, managed data entry in the Raiser's Edge database, helped to manage volunteer events, and coordinated research. Katie has great potential, and will be an asset to any Development team.
