Katie is a skilled learner with with a keen ability to pick up difficult concepts. She was a top performer in my Business Fundamentals course. Students in the course are asked to run a $50MM company via a CapSim software simulation. With no prior exposure to the simulation, Katie worked incredibly hard to learn the ins and outs of running a company. She made decisions regarding production, HR, TQM, and finance. I was amazed at how quickly she learned and applied the concepts. More importantly though, Katie was a natural leader when placed in a team setting. She went above and beyond to help the students on her team understand the simulation. It was truly a pleasure having Katie in my course.
