t was a pleasure to work together with Katie Trescott at Bank of America and Tommy Bahama. She is a phenomenal leader. She has a very strong work ethic and unparalleled analytical and written/verbal communication skills. Katie is dedicated, self-motivated, methodical, and very capable. Whenever I had an issue or concern, there was never a time that she left me without a solution. She always made sure she was available and took the time to actively listen. Katie will find a way to weather any storm with a smile. She is a truly an exceptional leader.

I lead a team of copywriters to craft incisive, meaningful B2B content in the form of white papers, case studies, websites and landing pages, sales decks, proposals, paid digital campaigns, organic social posts, video scripts, and any other copy across a wide spectrum of mediums. I work closely with clients to develop strategy that translates into connective messaging that drives leads down the sales funnel. The focus is to build brand awareness but also create relationships with prospects that enable business growth. Show less

I currently serve in the NMRTC New England, cross assigned to NRC Augusta as the Career Counselor and section leader. I've served at the Naval Academy to support Induction of new midshipmen, the Warrior Games as a medical assistant to the Canadian National Team, Capitol Usher at the Presidential Inauguration 2017, among other experiences that have honed my devotion to serve, broadened my perspective of the world, and sharpened my desire for adventure. What most comes to mind when I reflect on my time at "Tommy" was the valuable experience I got to hone my leadership skills (coaching, development, Performance Reviews), my customer service acumen, and the passion it instilled in me to write for a brand. I didn't know where I was going for my Peace Corps service until a month before I departed. I received a letter in the mail announcing "Ukraine" as my destination and apart from a vague knowledge of Andriy Shevchenko, the soccer star, I couldn't articulate much about the young nation. Two years later, I had taught 4-11th graders in a small town in Western Ukraine, facilitated a HIV/AIDS Awareness Camp with a federal grant, coordinated a book donation program at the school library, as well as traveled around the region to my heart's content. "Hardest job you'll ever love" is a perfect tagline but if I had to propose another one, it would be "Adventure that defines a lifetime." Show less
