  Under the Maryland State Autism Waiver, Trellis provides home and community based instructional services for children with autism and related communication disorders. I am responsible for hiring in-home and therapeutic integration instructors which includes:-Interviewing & fingerprinting candidates-Determine appropriate client match for candidate-Execute orientation presentation (minimum of once/ week)-Onboard all new hires into HR/Payroll system-Maintain communication with 45+ case managers-Submit monthly reports to state agencies-Manage and update openings page on company website-Attend trainings, administrative meetings, and recruiting events as needed-Other duties as assigned

  The Therapeutic Integration after-school program is designed to provide clients with opportunities to develop recreation and social skills in a group setting. As a group leader I was responsible for the following:-Oversee a group of 2-3 staff members, each responsible for 1-3 children with autism -Execute activities including but not limited to gross motor, sensory, social skills, music, art, and cooking-Vary teaching techniques to the ability of each individual learner-Submit group lesson plans monthly-Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution-Data collection-Communicate any irregularities to the Program Manager-Other duties as assigned
