Katie is one of the most highly motivated and detail oriented people I have had the pleasure of working with. Katie and I worked together as contractors to Globalfoundries HR Operations team for approximately 15 months. Katie assisted in training me and 3 other new hires when I first started working with the company. She was a very adaptive trainer and was able to tailor her training techniques to each individuals needs. Katie was always going above and beyond and was more than willing to help others as needed; she was also not afraid to ask for help if she needed it. Katie's ability to juggle multiple projects and handle even the most difficult people was one of the things I always found so impressive. I would hands down recommend Katie to any employer.

    • Management Intern
      • Jun 2016 - Aug 2016

As a Management intern I was give the opportunity to self manage myself. My duties included team motivation, human resource skills and increasing sales and customer satisfaction. My main focus was in motivating and training the team in order to accomplish the store's summer goals. I was a driving force in the teams success in customer service goal, by having one on ones with employees, daily team meetings, and coaching. While I was driving customer service in the store we saw a 20 percent increase in our satisfaction scores, as well as moving our stores placement from 11th to 5th in the district. In order to increase the sales of immunizations educated the team on the services the pharmacy offered. From their the team and I worked to develop ways to naturally incorporate immunizations in customer conversations. I also participated in the process of screening, interviewing and decision making of applicants. This training me in recognizing applicants strengths, weaknesses, attitudes, and how they fit the the company culture. Show less
