I plan, delegate and volunteer at various events we put on. Most recently I planned a Zombie Crawl for 200 kids to engage with our student athletes in active activities. I am in charge of Locker Room Campaigns which includes putting a poster on each locker room door including information on each months hot topic. I am in charge of our social media accounts. I participated in a four day Forum with other student athletes from around the country. We learned various leadership skills including strength based leadership, core values, effective communication, emotional intelligence and bystander intervention. We listened to Curtis Hill speak on diversity and inclusion and Jacque McWilliams from the CIAA. Most importantly, we were able to give back to the community we were in by packaging 6,000 care packages for the homeless in under 40 minutes.
