During my time at University, I was elected by my class twice to represent them as a course representative for two years. My role was to collect and gather feedback from students about the course and presents the information to relevant lecturers during meetings which were conducted once every three months. Also part of my role was to bring across students ideas/suggestions to the meeting. The University provided more day trips as the outcome from this. In addition, being responsible by listening and trying to help resolve any issues the students may have had.

I was personally selected by the University to be the student representative where I attended session’s once every week for six weeks to voice my opinion in the discussion of the University courses that were being modified and improved for future students. During this time I was given full training and course files in which were given to me to read a week prior to each meeting to discuss what could be done differently for the future. It helped me improve my organisational skills and time management.
