Katie is a gifted individual within the international development field that I can always depend on for guidance, mentorship, and getting the job done in an efficient and professional manner. She is organized, passionate, and welcoming in a variety of settings, whether it be collaborating and consulting with her team or coordinating an Advocacy Quilt Exhibit with program assistants. Her vision for international development, in addition to her genuine care for developing and connecting community leaders, make her an outstanding individual for the field of international development.

Externally, I work with grassroots community partners that fulfill Eaton Workshop’s mission to further environmental and social impact within our Washington, DC community. I do this through event curation and management, as well as program production for timely and relevant cultural activations. Internally, I work with our 110+ staff in fulfilling Eaton Workshop's commitment to the Triple Bottom Line (People, Planet, Profit). I do this by managing the property's sustainability work, and all of our DEI initiatives. I design and facilitate trainings, hire outside contractors, collect data for third-party certifications, and track our progress through surveys and KPIs. Eaton's Impact work sets it apart as an innovator in the hospitality space and honors the organization's commitment to mission-driven hospitality. Show less
