Responsible for carrying out a variety of activities to ensure the adequacy and quality of placement resources for children/youth in care. These duties included the recruitment, screening, assessment, training, support and supervision of foster families. Collaboration with other team members to plan and secure placements for children/youth in care including placements within Outside Paid Resources. As a practicum student I was able to shadow many areas within CAS.
