I have held my current position for 5 years and am responsible for auditing cases after the case has a confirmed I plan and then again if the case’s plan is modified and finally when the case is ready to be closed. Additionally I check feasibility after a plan has had it’s first audit and after any modified plans to ensure the case will be successful. If the feasibility report shows it will not, I send the report to be reviewed for need of a motion to dismiss and file it with court. If there is no need of a motion I will send a notice to the attorney by email with a copy of the feasibility report for their review. Another of my responsibilities regarding cases with mortgages is to run a mortgage audit with the first audit and any time the mortgage payment is increased by notice to court. A feasibility report is also done to see that increases do not jeopardize the success of the case. Then there’s payoff quotes for attorneys request emails and debtor’s phone requests; review of cases on the docket to ensure the motions to dismiss have the most accurate picture of what’s needed to bring the case back on track; and review of agreed orders/amended claims for proper entry and feasibility of the case. I help run mail out for monthly disbursements and sort pull/cancel check requests. Also, I get copies of checks for requests. Before that I worked as a Case Administrator entering the necessary information to ensure the claims in the cases were paid according to the confirmed plan or the most recent plan on file.
