I Helped the children learn and explore both inside and outside the classroom by creating interesting and engaging activities. I helped to create a warm and nurturing environment for the children to grow. I provided assistance with hygiene matters. I also developed a relationship with the children as well as the parents. Finally, I Maintained documentation of the children by recording anecdotal records and observations. This school was a Reggio Amelia inspired school. I worked with toddlers and led them to explore new ideas and the world around them. I planned and implemented various activities based off the children's interest. I also helped to create and warm a nurturing environment to make learning fun. Assisted with the play and learn program, which provided children ages 2-5 to come in with their parents/ caregivers and do some fun games. Activities included a bean bag toss, different art ideas, fine motor skills such as stringing beads. Activities were different each week. I also helped the library by volunteering for other programs provided such as story time with infants, a Lego themed day and a life sized candy land game.
