Event Support ASEAN Paralympics (Internship)

I was fortunate enough to work at the 5th annual ASEAN Para Games. Shadowing a member of the managerial team to assist in the management of daily operations, this role involved a variety of responsibilities to ensure the smooth-running of such a high-profile event, ranging from utilizing people skills to manage a team of security offices, to employing computer skills to ensure that good communication was established throughout the Games. Aside from the practical implications of my role here and the invaluable work experience, I had an incredible time working with such inspiring athletes. JANUARY 2016 - EVENT SUPPORT, KELLY SERVICES OCBC AQUATIC CENTRE, SINGAPORE SPORTSHUB I was offered a 6-week position at the OCBC Aquatic Centre. This involved more administrative aspects of my previous role here, giving me invaluable office-based experience to learn about the smooth running of daily operations.
