I continually improved in efficiency in providing high quality coffee to standard and utilized every opportunity to connect with customers and partners. I was nominated Partner of the Quarter Summer of 2023 for cultivating a fun, engaging, and professional environment, consistently seeking to connect with customers, and remaining dedicated to going above and beyond for every cup of coffee, every customer, every day. Summer Camp Director
-
May 2016 - Aug 2022
During my 7 summers serving at Camp Vertical, I had the privilege to step into a number of different positions, including coaching other staff, developing a volunteer program, and most recently supporting staff and campers as the director of the Camp Vertical program. I prepared and delivered large group teaching, lead large group games with 25-60 campers each week, and develop closer relationships with 5-10 of those campers through facilitating small group discussion. I collaborated with colleagues to design activities to engage children and communicated throughout each day with my colleagues in order to maximize productivity. I served other members of staff as well, leading a staff learning community to explore Scripture together, and mentoring younger members of staff. Show less

5/6th Grade RLA Teaching Assistant
-
Aug 2021 - May 2022
During my time at Woodlands School, I partnered with a classroom of students and worked with students one-on-one and in small groups to encourage excellence in learning. I collaborated closely with the special education department, checking in with specific students and tailoring lesson plans to meet their needs. I empowered my students to use conflict resolution skills, redirected distractions in the classroom, and encouraged my students to become curious about learning and about the world around them. In addition to my work with a specific classroom, I also cultivated a staff culture of collaboration by jumping into substitute teaching of any subject and grade. I taught students by inviting them to participate in the material, encouraging them when they understood and walking with them through areas of concern. Show less
