  I had responsibility for managing the library at Parkwood, including its budget and all its resources. This included but was not limited to: helping pupils choose the right reading material (for enjoyment and for learning), using the library management system Eclipse effectively, creating displays, buying new books, ensuring the space is well used, working in collaboration with teaching staff to provide appropriate and useful learning resources, and devising and implementing initiatives to engage reluctant readers and the high proportions of EAL and SEN pupils.
