Bio
Olga Koter
Katie and I worked together closely since 2019. We started our journey in the QA team for theHunter: Call of the Wild. Her work and her out-of-the-box thinking continuously inspired and she quickly became a strong pillar of the team, challenging the deadlines and having difficult conversations about quality of the releases with production. Not long after Katie began taking on narrative tasks and naturally evolved into the role. Soon with great results she took over the responsibilities of narrative design entirely. She shows great preparation with her thorough research on each of the reserves released for theHunter: Call of the Wild. She also shows exceptional craftsmanship through her workshop, creating engaging content for players as well as challenging limited possibilities of a hunting game released in 2017. Her stories captivate and characters are driven. Katie's stories reflect her passion for diversity and inclusivity and I can confidently say Katie is bringing the long awaited change to Avalanche and the industry. I am glad to be working with her and I have no doubt that she will make a strong team member anywhere she goes.
