   Effectively monitors 11 DESTINOS grantees located in 8 different destinations through regular communication, site visits, and written reports which are facilitated through well-taught and well-understood requirements and procedures by the grantees.  Drafts monthly reports for AED/DSTA to analyze status of projects, with recommendations and observations to improve project performance.    Worked with (04) National Competitiveness Council (NCC)-supported Tourism Clusters (Samana, Puerto Plata, La Altagracia and Santo Domingo) in becoming self-sufficient and sustainable destination management organizations by strengthening and expanding cluster leadership and operational staff throughout the life of the DSTA program.  Assisted Executive Directors of each Tourism Cluster to develop yearly work plans business and communications plans as well as to develop a membership structure which included broad representation of the destination’s tourism stakeholders including communities and tourism Small and Medium Enterprises (SMMEs).  Ensured the submission (by preparing some and reviewing others) of high quality program outputs and technical deliverables: including technical work plans; reports; materials assessment, development; and production; implementation and training plans; award programs; workshops, seminars, and training events; and community participation events and activities.  Assisted and contributed in drafting relevant sections of the Implementation Plan, subsequent annual work plans, M&E plans, as well as quarterly and annual performance review reports (and others specified in the LWA Cooperative Agreement) under the guidance of the DSTA Program Coordinator.  Coordinated with USAID, national & international organizations/donors, training activities, seminars, workshops for stakeholders and general public.  In cooperation with the DSTA Program Manager and M&E supported the execution of DSTA Program’s Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP) for grantees, including proper reporting of indicators.  Prepared budget projections and estimated to ensure sound financial management of project funds.
