MEMORIAL: Founded the Major Glenn Miller Army Air Forces Orchestra Veterans Association with its arranger, then-co-president Norman Leyden. Arranged memorial services in England and Virginia, obtained memorial tree & marker, arranged for several concerts, wrote many articles, and produced several exhibits. Glenn Miller exhibits were on display at the DAR's Constitution Hall (Washington, DC), several Army and Air Force locations (DC, MD, VA, Portugal, U.K., Germany), Glenn Miller Festival in Clarinda, Iowa, Fort Indiantown Gap 50th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge, Arlington National Cemetery (Virginia) and Cambridge Cemetery (England, U.K.), and on CBS Sunday Morning. Created memorial booklets for several events held on December 15, 1994. Conducted memorial service for the 75th anniversary at A.N.C. on Dec. 15, 2019.
