Over the last seven years, I have had the pleasure of working with Kathy Kuntz on a variety of different projects for Cool Choices and the WI Sustainable Business Council. Kathy is an amazing executive director for Cool Choices as well as a talent nonprofit leader and professional. During this time, I have heard Kathy deliver several talks/addresses at various conferences and events around the themes of employee engagement, sustainability, consumer behavior, and climate change. She is an excellent speaker and subject matter expert, who always delivers thought-provoking commentary and insight! Kathy has been an incredible advocate and educator to the local, national and international business community. Under her leadership, Cool Choices has taken a very public stance and joined with businesses across Amercian to support adoption of a low carbon economy, through the #wearestillin movement. Kathy recognizes the importance of partnerships and has a track record of working with stakeholders from various perspective to see the benefits of sustainable practices. In 2017, I was very lucky to have the opportunity to help Kathy bring a game of Cool Choices to Waukesha County. Over 35 businesses and organizations came together to play our six-week county level game that generated over 31,000 choices associated with energy savings at work and home, travel choices, water usage, and waste management. Kathy's experiences working within the energy sector and her keen ability to network/communication were responsible for the success of our Waukesha County Cool Choices game.

Our office issued an ambitious economy-wide climate action plan (CAP) in April 2020. The CAP charts a path to equitable deep decarbonization, reducing emissions and setting an example for other units of government. I'm thrilled to be leading efforts to make that vision into reality. Addressing the climate crisis requires us to engage everyone around clean energy, waste reduction and sustainable choices. So why are you still just talking at the choir? With deep expertise in energy efficiency and corporate sustainability combined with a healthy obsession about human behavior, I can help you design and implement programs that reach broad audiences and get deep results. We partner with public and private entities to implement engagement games where people earn points by making cool choices--simple stuff like eco-driving. A non-profit, we're aiming to mitigate climate change by inspiring individuals, communities and businesses to adopt practices that reduce their GHG emissions.
