Kathy was an enthusiastic supporter of the nascent Wind Turbine Technology program at OSU-OKC. She supported and helped the student association get started, as well as helped the program improve through suggestions. It is now the premier WTT Associate Degree program in Oklahoma, thanks in no small part to students like Kathy.

J-L Farms is a small organically operated farm located 10 miles northeast of Stratford, Oklahoma and 14 miles northwest of Ada, Oklahoma. Our farm is a "first step" to a much larger endeavor which is currently in its developmental stage. We currently supply fishing worms and tackle to area merchants as part of the farm's operation. These worms create castings which are part of the vermicompost portion of the farm. The castings and "worm tea" create an organic boost to the garden and fruit trees. Since Stratford is known for peaches we could not be a local farm without peach trees. So, this year we have planted several organic trees from which we hope to see producing fruits within a few years. Show less
