I worked for Kathy in her role as Staffing Manager at Robert Half/Accountemps - she and her team recruited me for a temporary Accounting Assistant assignment in West Hollywood. I had just moved back to California after several years in New York City in order to assist and reconnect with family after an unexpected personal loss and, as you might imagine, trying to relocate, settle in and face a new job market all at once, even with references and a resume, was enormously challenging. Practically speaking, I spent as much time managing back-and-forth emails and interview calls with potential employers and recruiters as I did actually researching and applying for opportunities. From there on forward, it was a blessing – there was genuine interest, helpful guidance, and focused conversations with the goal of finding just the right fit.
