I have worked with Kathy for over 5 years and am constantly impressed with her strategic financial acumen. Kathy is a strong partner to the revenue generating art departments at Christie’s. In her role, she informs the strategy of the company by hi-lighting and interpreting financial information, enabling the business to change course and/or make decisions that will favorably impact the profit of the company. She is a strong and thoughtful leader and what I have always appreciated, as a partner, is that she is always willing to roll up her sleeves and help with any project at a moment’s notice. Kathy has been able to navigate the complex structure of regional vs global and set up a strong department underneath her that is flexible and can support the business across all matrices. I most enjoy Kathy’s warm and caring style and her quick sense of humor. I admire her dedication to social issues and her leadership in our CSR efforts at Christie’s - her leadership in this area has helped grow our CSR group and encouraged young people to do the same.

I had the honour and privilege to work with Kathy at Christie's for eight years, and the last five years as my line-manager. Kathy is a finance professional in the truest sense, with an extremely high technical ability in many areas of finance, complemented with a great business brain and commercial acumen - as demonstrated with her deep understanding of the Christie's business, from both commercial and operational standpoints. One of the Christie's core values is "passionate expertise" and Kathy has an absolute abundance of this - she really cares about what she does, and this clearly gives her another dimension when operating in her role. The quality of her output and presentation, both written and verbal, is second to none. Kathy earned the mantle of being a trusted and hugely respected partner to the CEO and the exec management with her own brand of polished, informative and concise updates that informed both important strategic and operational decisions alike. Kathy is an excellent and incredibly compassionate finance leader, who really cares about her team both in terms of their professional development and personal well-being. Kathy is adept at advocating and empowering her team - providing the opportunity to expand their professional exposure, and space to grow and develop. I owe so much of my own career development to the time and thought that Kathy put into it. Kathy's skills, traits and expertise are of incredible value to any firm seeking true C-suite level finance partnership - and i would thoroughly recommend Kathy.
