  Working for a Government Agency under many roles, strengthened my skill to be adaptable, as well as time management and multi-tasking, as all roles were demanding, and deadlines crossed over regularly. Working with external parties such as the Conservation Boards, Local Iwi Groups and the public meant I had to be adaptable in my communication styles. Often fronting meetings both in the public arena and internally or recording minutes for public consumption I had to maintain levels of knowledge on the content of meetings. With opportunities to expand my skills, I was able to act in the Personal Assistant role to the Director of Operations for the Southern South Island, become Team Lead for all Board Support Officers around the country and Team Lead in a National Improvement Project.
