  I worked as a T.A. for the Contemporary Issues in Human Sexuality and Forensic Psychology classes at Montana State University. In this role, I mentored psychology students of all ages and backgrounds to develop stronger written communication and research skills. I worked to implement consistent and accurate grading of both research and discussion papers. Fluency in both APA and MLA writing formats was an important requirement of the job.   I consistently welcomed guests to the store while also identifying their needs to provide optimal customer service. As a bookseller, it was important to maintain a working knowledge of all areas of inventory and promote new and popular selections in each genre based on the interests of the customer. I developed an understanding of inventory processing duties as well as knowledge of the inner workings of book publishing and distribution. I often was tasked with developing various displays and promotional tables while taking into account the best placement and setup for optimal sales. Commonly, when a customer could not come into the store, or when an item was out of stock, I was tasked with placing orders through the internal inventory system and providing various outlets for acquiring the desired inventory.
