I worked directly with Katie (so many) years ago and have been inspired by her as our paths took us in different directions across the US. I follow her career with interest because of her maturity as a clinician, her generosity as a person and her ability to stay grounded while juggling all of the priorities our work requires.

A leader and mentor like Dr. Topham is a rare find. I was lucky enough to work directly under Dr. Topham during her time as Executive Director of Next Steps Behavioral Centers. She provided supervision while I managed a caseload of clients and direct care staff and helped me navigate a variety of situations while contributing to my developmental growth from RBT to BCBA. She always promoted collaboration and provided me the safe space to be able to implement the skills I was honing both as a BCBA and as a center director. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to glean wisdom from this incredible person.

We are an in-home and clinic-based service provider of Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) for children with Autism and related disabilities. If you are encountering a behavior concern (i.e., lack of learning, aggression, destruction, self injury, noncompliance, etc) then we welcome you to contact us! In addition to direct therapy, Next Steps provides social training for parents, professionals, and community health partners. At Next Steps, we are committed to integration of services for the client. Our team of ABA providers are happy to work with other professionals if the guardian grants permission for us to do so.
