  Working alongside Senior Garment Technologists and Technical Managers to ensure the functionality and quality of products. During my time at Craghoppers I worked on; woven and jersey, waterproof and fleece and accessories. Developed in-depth knowledge into the fit and construction of technical outdoor clothing. Testing and approving garment samples from salesman through to production. Approving colour, trims and fabrics for garments. Producing and updating production specifications. Partook in weekly critical path meetings with the buying and merchandising team to monitor garment production and discuss any issues with suppliers. Developed strong communication skills whilst liaising with suppliers in China, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh on a daily basis to maintain and develop business relationships. Responsible for in-house garment testing including hydrostatic head and abrasion testing, to ensure all garments met performance standards. Working with the in-house Quality Control team to complete AQL's for all incoming shipments, ensuring all garments were made to production specifications and met the high quality standards. Assisting the Technical Manager with factory AQL's, CSR and fabric development. I also spent a week with the marketing department during this time I produced the departments AW 11/12 corporate calendar, proof checked all the SS11 promotional material and produced promotional packs for the Outdoor Trade Fair Friedrichshafen.
