I knew Kathryn from Roger Williams University where we lived in the same dorm. Kathryn was a tireless worker who put more effort into her studies than anyone I've seen. With a room cluttered with sticky notes and notecards her study habits were remarkable. Though, it was a few years ago work effort like hers is not a trait that fades away. The amount of hours she poured into her craft is not something learned overnight and not a characteristic lost over time. It is who she is. Though her talents were not limited to the classroom as her bright personality gives her the ability to work extremely well with others. She had a small stint selling makeup for a company during college and I know I fell victim to her talent often times buying gifts for loved ones at home. But, she was not limited to selling beauty products as I was also blessed to have her assistance in a fundraiser I started at school called St. Baldrick's Day. Though her presence was limited it was felt, as her job was simple, convince people to either shave their head for the cause or donate. I can remember it clearly as she rallied a large crowd for the event to watch. She is a tremendous talent with her work ethic, education and ability to work with others. Kathryn would be an asset in any company.
