I provide childcare for several families in the Petaluma area. I am responsible for the care and well being of the children while the parents are away. I maintain a safe environment where the children can learn and engage in their daily activities. Senior Preceptorship in Telemetry/Stroke Unit

I am currently completing my 200 hour senior preceptorship in a Telemetry/Stroke unit.I am providing direct patient care with increasing independence under supervision of my preceptor for four patients per shift. I care for a variety of acutely ill patients with neurological, gastrointestinal, respiratory, or circulatory issues. Extra-Curricular Rural Preceptorship

I was selected to participate in rural preceptorship through Chico State University. I completed 150 hours in the Medical-Surgical unit. I became competent in using resources available in a rural community. I managed, assessed and implemented care for 3-4 patients per shift. I further developed my clinical nursing skills as well as my time-management and critical thinking skills. I exemplified compassionate, culturally competent care during this preceptorship.
