Designing and implement the yearly, weekly and daily training planning of all swim teams / ASA and community swim groups.Overseeing the overall scheduling of all aquatic programme and services, Coordinate the demand and feasibility of open swim times and non-instructional aquatic programs.Observe and enforce all rules and regulations of the facility, including monitoring the maintenance, security and safety of the overall pool environment in conjunction with the Operations and Facility Manager. Managing and in-service safety training such as First Aid for all staff members, Lifeguard training and certification for pool staff and students.Conducting professional development for aquatic staff.

In my current responsibilities, I am acting as a PE teacher, swim instructor, coach and pool manager. Responsibilities include: • Planning and overseeing the School’s aquatics programmes and services such as primary curriculum and assessments, secondary curriculum and assessments, CAS and BTEC classes and teaching PE classes.• Ensuring the quality and related safety of the programmes (before, during and after school) as well as the yearly training overview and the daily coaching sessions for the swim teams. • Acting as the lead BSB Swim Instructor by administering, supervising and promoting the BSB swimming programme, as well as training staff in swimming instruction. • Supervising the day-to-day operations of the pool facility, staff, supplies and equipment.• Work closely with the Head of Extra-Curricular Sports & Activities, Head of Physical Education, Facilities Manager and Campus & Sports Centre Operations Officer. In addition I Coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of BSB curricular & extra-curricular swimming programme. • Create the curricular and extra-curricular swimming schedule, in cooperation with the Physical Education and Extra-Curricular Sports & Activities Departments. • Take responsibility for all swim programmes conducted at BSB whether instructional or recreational, utilizing paid coaches/ volunteer teachers to assist in all programmes.• Take responsibility for writing policies and procedures that relate to the swimming pool and the swimming program (NOP / EAP).• Administer and conduct successful swimming meets.• Oversee the overall scheduling of all aquatic programme and services, in cooperation with the Extra-Curricular Sports & Activities Department and the Campus & Sports Centre Operations Office.
