Kathleen is by far one of the most strategic, organized, creative people I have ever worked with. She has the unique ability to bring structure and processes to a variety of projects at the same time. She can create efficiencies to support the bigger picture and there is little she cannot figure out for herself. She has a great communications & marketing instinct. I am so lucky to have worked alongside Kathleen and to call her a friend - she is a warm, positive, smart, fun and truly supportive team mate!

I like people that communicate and one of the first things I appreciated about Kathleen was her communication style. She knew helpful details about my life that helped break ice and make our morning collaboration easier to participate in. The SCLN team are wonderful in general and its great to see them growing and enriching their staff.

SCLN is a program that recruits leaders in business, nonprofit, government and community sectors in order to expose them to the “inner-workings” of Los Angeles, the region, and the state. My responsibilities at SCLN included assisting with communication and marketing outlets. I wrote their monthly newsletter, Network Connections, for the months of April, May, and June. This opportunity has developed my focus and interest in the nonprofit sector. As an intern I: 1) provided logistical support for seminars and events. 2) Worked on media outreach with responsibilities such as writing monthly constant contact e-newsletters and website content support.3) I assisted with special projects to ensure daily obligations are sustained.
