  My career in management begin in August 2008 as the Resource Manager for the Wakulla County School Board (WCSB) food service department. In that position I helped to implement a new software system for the point of sale. I created the training manuals and trained staff on the new system. I was responsible for assisting the Director to ensure that all nine kitchens ran smoothly. I also revised and tested recipes as needed. During this time, I was the Treasurer and also the Certification Chair for the WCSB food service association. In 2010, I received the position as the food service manager of Wakulla High School Cafeteria. In that position I successfully managed a staff of 13 employees to serve a student body of 1500. Along with my staff, we successfully passed a compliance audit as part of the USDA Certification Review for the new nutrition guidelines, which brought in an additional $30,000 each year.
