I had the privilege of visiting Kathleen's International School in Tallinn, Estonia during the 2015 school year. High expectations and great student to teacher relationships were present in every classroom I visited. Kathleen provides evidence that a great school simply doesn't exist without an outstanding leader. Her leadership and passion for her school has inspired me long after my visit to the Baltics. Keep up the incredible work Kathleen and thank you for the hospitality while I visited Tallinn.

A globally recognized standard of excellence, NEASC Accreditation attests to a school’s high quality and integrity. The NEASC Commission on International Education (NEASC-CIE) is a 16-member panel of professional educators and one public member selected by institutional delegates to represent our diverse membership. Commissioners serve for three-year terms (renewable once). Responsibilities: Using the established NEASC-CIE Standards and Principles, commissioners meet four times a year to review Visiting Team Reports for continued and initial accreditation, along with progress reports, five year-reports, special reports and preliminary and preparatory reports. All reports that affect our candidate and accredited schools go before the commission for their input, discussion and decision regarding the status of a school's membership/accreditation. Show less

CEESA leads educational transformation through collaboration. The Central & Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA) was founded as a result of the growth of American and International Schools in Central and Eastern Europe. In many cases, the schools were geographically isolated from each other and from the main stream of American and International Education. CEESA was formed to broaden the horizons of schools and to promote professional growth. CEESA is your KEY to unlock professional development in the region. In addition to the CEESA Annual Conference in March, CEESA sponsors regional workshops, institutes and meetings to foster professionalism, scholarship, and a deeper understanding of improvements for leading, teaching and learning. A unique offering of our association is that CEESA sponsors student activities, focusing on a variety of academic and non-academic areas, and a full schedule of sports events. See the calendar for a list of these events. Show less
