Professor Lawrence’s research & teaching in the areas of gender and communication, women and film, small group, Interviewing, and Mass Media Advertising contributes to the concentration in Public Relations & Advertising, and to the minors in Cinema Studies and to Women’s Studies. She also has developed courses recently in the field of Popular Culture and as a platform for practicing media criticism. In addition, Dr. Lawrence involves students in civic issues related to their studies, and to the benefit of the wider campus community.
