I divide my time in the Health Department and the Family Consumer Science Department at NCHS. I have experience in traditional based grading and standards based grading as each of the departments I work in use different grading techniques. I utilize the 1 to 1 implementation of technology in my classroom by using all Google products, including Google Classroom. I also use creative outlets for students such as Canva, Adobe Spark, Lumen 5, and Blendspace allow students to experience innovative uses of technology. I use various teaching strategies to allow each student to engage in the lessons and create opportunities for student lead activities. Outside of the classroom I help facilitate the Family Consumer Science club where students have the opportunity to create service learning projects to serve their community with. Show less

National Account Sales Intern
-
Jun 2015 - Aug 2015
I worked as a National Account Sales Intern for the summer of 2015. While a US Foods employee, I helped create a playbook that the National Accounts team could utilize. In order to accomplish this, I conducted meetings and interviews, set short term and long term goals, analyzed information and organized it into a clear and user friendly format. I also enhanced Microsoft Office skills in excel, power point, and word. I worked as a National Account Sales Intern for the summer of 2015.
