My responsibilities included developing basic flow diagrams for the Top-Liner, Filler, and Back Liner processes in the Stock Prep area as well as developing diagrams for the Paper Machine. Diagrams for the machine included a basic flow for the Formers and the Wet-End Shower System. I was also part of a small team who installed a Conustrenner in the Top Liner System. The Conustrenner project was a cost savings project that allowed for the recovery of fiber in the Top Liner system.

Project Engineering Intern

Apart of the project engineering team that helped upgraded the GPI Middletown Mill's filler stock system in order for the mill to use less expensive stock and still produce the same quality product. Worked directly with production, a design engineering group, the project team, local and state regulators, as well as contractors. Worked on instrumental and motor elementary drawings to ensure drawings were correct and updated the drawings as needed when the start-up process began.
