As a Research Fellow in the Post Baccalaureate Pre Doctoral Internship program, I worked in Dr. John Brady's retrovirology laboratory, attempting to expose the process by which retroviruses such as HTLV-I, HTLV-II, and HIV alter cell signaling in infected cells. In my research, I performed a variety of assays and cloning experiments specifically targeted at the NFkB and MAPP Kinase intercellular signaling pathways.
