The Director of Chapter Development provides leadership focused on supporting the development of Delta Upsilon chapters and members as it relates to loss prevention programming and related areas. The role manages the individual and chapter investigation and conduct process of Delta Upsilon’s Loss Prevention program (risk management). This position is responsible for helping shape the Fraternity’s educational initiatives in the areas of bystander intervention, alcohol education, hazing prevention, and awareness of sexual assault and mental health issues. The Director of Chapter Development also provides oversight and supervision of the Men of Merit, Chapter Excellence Plan (CEP) and the development of all Associate Chapters.-Develop & deliver curriculum & training prevention modules on loss prevention, alcohol education, hazing prevention, sexual assault awareness, bystander behavior, accountability and more.-Provide training & education on standards/judicial board development and substance-free housing. -Create new and/or targeted initiatives for chapters in the area of loss prevention/harm reduction.-Oversee the implementation & assessment of the Fraternity’s Men of Merit Chapter Standards.-Oversee the monitoring, review, and evaluation of Chapter Excellence Plan submissions. -Oversee the development, growth, and chartering pathway of Associate Chapters.-Supervise the Chapter Development Coordinator position.-Investigate potential violations of the Loss Prevention policy. -Adjudicate and maintain consistent portfolio of chapter and individual discipline reports. -Coordinate all meetings for the Delta Upsilon Judicial Committee.-Manage annual Loss Prevention communications strategy. -Provide support and facilitation at Fraternity leadership and educational programs.-Serve as liaison to undergraduate chapters and those on Reorganization status.
