  Won a hotly contested purple state senate district in Brooklyn, in the most polarized district in the state of New York. Worked as a field director remotely, in person, and on a hybrid schedule, shifting according to COVID levels. Trained and led interns, staff, and volunteers for canvassing, phone banking, and text banking, in-person and remotely via Zoom. Coordinated messaging planning and graphics with the digital team and senior campaign staff as the campaign, COVID, and local news shifted. Planned phone and cell data sets for calls and text banking lists, including designing cohorts, loading and modifying call and text lists, and generating scripts per cohort and campaign phase. Designed and enforced COVID safety protocols for volunteers and staff for canvassing, in-person events, and campaign offices, including actively monitoring the shifts of COVID Red and Yellow Zones in-district and pivoting planning accordingly. Coordinated trainings, canvasses, phone and text banks, and town halls with local organizations, unions,state senators’ offices, campaigns and the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee, utilizing Mobilize, GetThru texting and calling, and Zoom. Coordinated multi-campaign remote phone banks and text banks with campaigns at the state assembly, state senate, congressional, and presidential level.   Tracked community events and strategically planned and staffed visibility at events and transit hubs. Built relationships with community organizations and leaders, coordinated planning on events, announcements, and endorsements, and supported said events as a photographer as well. Planned, publicized, and executed the fall campaign launch in coordination with local and city-wide progressive organizations. Wrote, edited, and set up email blasts to volunteers and donors through NGP. Cultivated friends and supporters of the candidate into being super volunteers who hosted meet and greets, fundraisers, and petitioning events for the candidate, and who went on to recruit their friends and colleagues to this track. Recruited and trained 70 volunteers for ballot access petitioning, tracked and scrubbed petitions, and succeeded at getting nearly 3000 signatures before the early shutdown of petitioning due to COVID-19. Trained, led, and mentored a force of 20 interns to call and text our way through multiple passes through our universe before Election Day, and made possible a large expansion of the said universe. Recruited, trained, and managed over 400 volunteers to get out the vote via Hustle. Recruited and trained 75 volunteer captains and ally organization leaders to host GOTV text banking events across New York City and state. Generated and modulated messaging for GOTV and election protection campaigns. Common Cause NY sent out 220,000 GOTV to millennial voters for the NYS primary, and 440,000 GOTV texts sent out for the general election. Show less

Exceeded daily and weekly signature goals, with canvassers collecting, on average 4.5 signatures per hour on turf. Tracked contact data, cultivated FOs to improve their numbers, and modified the messaging according to feedback from the ground.
