  Emmy nominated, and Gotham, Peabody, and GLAAD Award winning director and producer. Katherine Fisher has over 15 years experience in narrative and documentary filmmaking, and planning and managing events, theater, and festivals. Katherine has worked throughout the United States, most recently in Los Angeles, New Orleans, Miami, Nashville, New York, and at Standing Rock, North Dakota, as well as in the UK, Kenya, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Directing credits include the award winning short film Proof of Loss, starring Dylan McDermott (Hollywood, American Horror Story), and the heralded genre short film POSIES starring Anna Diop (TITANS, US, 24:Legacy) and Andy Favreau (Single Parents, Animal Kingdom). Most recently Katherine directed the online sensation McDonalds presents REVRY’s House of Pride, a variety show highlighting the vast talent and experiences of LGBTQIA+ community performers including Shea Diamond, Sam Tsui, LaLaRi, and Laganja Estranja. Producing credits include Liberty by writer/director Faren Humes, A True Crime by writer/director Marques Green, and Ink by award winning writer/director Ro Haber and starring Isabelle Fuhrman (The Hunger Games, Masters Of Sex, Orphan) and Forrest Goodluck (The Revenant, The Miseducation of Cameron Post). In 2015 Katherine produced the Emmy Nominated new media series Her Story directed by Sydney Freeland (Diedra & Laney Rob A Train, Drunktowns Finest) and staring Angelica Ross (POSE, American Horror Story) and Jen Richards (Clarice) about the dating lives of trans and queer women in Los Angeles. She's produced music videos for Grammy nominated band Tegan and Sara, as well as indy darlings Spectacular Spectacular, and was the co-producer on the short film One Billion Rising which was featured at Sundance Film Festival in 2014.

  Planning and managing events, festivals, films, and promotions throughout the U.S and the world. Developing marketing programs and brand development, and public relations. Co-producing short films and music videos, including “Break The Chain” and “One Billion Rising” which was featured at Sundance Film Festival 2014. Other work through V-Dy includes events at The Apollo Theater, The Louisiana Superdome, The New Orleans Arena, The Manhattan Center, Studio 54, Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, and The Brooklyn Museum of Art. From 2013 – 2015 Katherine was the Communications and Special Events Director for V-Day's One Billion Rising campaign, a global initiative to raise awareness of—and end—violence against women which saw millions of activists in over 200 countries and territories come together for the largest day of action to end violence against women in history.
